The folk embroidery of Shaan'xi has a long history.As early as Zhou Dynasty,people in Shaan;xi wove silk,sewed clothes and embroidered,which was recorded vividly in the Book of Songs(a collection of ancient Chinese poetry).In addition to the practical value,the folk embroideries are the representative of Chinese folk culture,showing its special value on traditional important occasions.
